A Hernando Wild Fire has reached over 1,000 acres and officials says its 75% contained. The fire itself has tripled in size according to officials who have been battling the blaze since Saturday.
Officials think the fire started from a lightning strike on Thursday. They didn’t get reports of the blaze until Saturday however.
No injuries have been reported. Some streets and intersections have been closed off though. Florida Forestry Service will be holding a press conference on Monday.
