A toddler was found dead after being left in a hot car in Brandon, FL on Tuesday. According to the Hillsborough County Sheriff’s Office, 2-year-old Jacob Manchego, was under the supervision of his 21-year-old half-sister Fiorella Vanessa Silva-Tello.

Silva-Tello was suspected of accidentally leaving her half-brother inside the care while she went into work around 9:30 am. At about 2:30 pm HSCO says that Silva-Tello went out to her car and found the boy unconscious.

Silva-Tello rushed her half-brother to a nearby Dialysis center in hopes that they could save him. Authorities rushed the toddler to a local hospital in Brandon where he later died.

The temperature was 80 degrees Tuesday afternoon. Silva-Tello was taken into custody for questioning by HCSO. As of now, no criminal charges have been made.
