Everyone has heard of Meals on Wheels. It is a nonprofit organization found all over the country that delivers fresh meals to home-bound seniors and the disabled. In Tampa Bay, an area full of seniors–AKA “snowbirds” from the frigid Northern states–Meals on Wheels is extremely important. It is so easy to volunteer, whether you are just looking to do it once, or trying to become a weekly volunteer.
